A comfortable, peaceful place. I arrived after dark and was still able to find the property easily. The heater was great (it was a cold night) and the bed was comfortable. The early morning fog from the back windows was incredible. And the shower was WARM and very clean... totally did not expect that. Do not hesitate to stay here.... it’s more comfortable than most hotels!

Stayed here for 2 nights while in town for an event. The accommodations were great, and just what we needed for a weekend trip. The interior is well laid out and everything inside was designed with high quality materials. It's as nice as it looks in the pictures, which is rare to see in my experience. The wifi was a huge bonus, especially given the remoteness of Mountain View. I was able to bring a laptop and stream shows in the evening,it was raining, otherwise I would've used the fire pit out back :(. The kitchen had all the pans and utensils I needed to cook a few good meals, and bathroom/shower was designed well for being in a bus. Overall, it's a cool space at a great value, and I'd stay here again if I make it back for one of the town's few different festivals.

Oh my goodness we absolutely LOVED Skoolie. It was equipped with everything you could possibly need. It was furnished with towels, extra blankets, a hair dryer, all the kitchen supplies you would need, and it had WiFi. I also loved that she had an Alexa in it because we would sit outside and leave the windows to the bus open and listen to music while we were roasting s’mores. Minutes away from the caverns, ok trading post for horseback riding, loco ropes, and the downtown area. Everything was clean, new, and ready for us! The bed for us (the parents) was super comfortable and our boys (7 and 9) did fine on the couch. We were so pleased and definitely will be going back! Our boys will always remember staying in a BUS!

I wasn’t sure what to expect once we rented Skoolie, but I wasn’t disappointed. It was beautifully laid out with everything you need, and some things I never expected to have there such as body wash in the shower, and a very comfortable bed.

The skoolie is a very well-equipped and comfortable rv. We really enjoyed being in nature on the mountain but close to all the amenities in town.

Loved the green schoolbus! My husband and I are musicians and when we were not jamming in Mtn View, we were playing tunes in the bus and in front of the fire. Very comfortable bed, kitchen well equipped for simple meals. My only suggestions are: provide some small kindling wood for the outdoor fire-the little wax fire starter didn’t really help and we found that tinder and kindling from the woods was green and damp. We bought a fire log at Walmart and that got us going. Not really a big deal, though. Also, rewrite the directions for adjusting the heating/cooling to be crystal clear for dummies! Maybe provide a couple more dish towels too. Again, all minor things. We had a blast this immaculate and stylish rental. Who knew??

We had the best weekend at the Skoolie! Super clean, had everything we could have needed! Rode horses, ziplined, explored Blanchard Springs and caverns. My kids had the best time!! We already want to go back!! The Skoolie was the best experience!

From booking, to arrival, to checking in and keeping firewood stocked, I can not rave about this experience enough. The kids loved the bus and we had an excellent vacation to the area! Will be back for sure. Thanks for the memories!

We stayed here for one night and it was amazing. The location is beautiful and they have everything you’d need to have a great and relaxing time. The inside is perfect and you feel right at home. We’ll definitely be back!

Skoolie was a blast !!..clean..comfortable...cute..modern...everything you would need was right there. Super location..out of the way but not scary remote. Easy to get to town if you want... Outdoor seating and lighting was great....I took my 86 year old mom so we could check staying in a bus off the list....what fun... Just do it !

This place is so freakin' cool! We loved all of the little touches like super cool solar powered lights around the fire pit, excellent Wi-Fi connection (which was super handy since my cell phone had ZERO reception in this area...Wi-Fi meant I could at least let people know we arrived safely), random sundry items like coffee, ketchup and utensils. It was a great memory made with my kids and mom, something we will not soon forget. Thank you for offering such a cool option for "camping out"! We LOVED it!

I have nothing but positive things to say about Skoolie! The bus is exactly as described, and was spotlessly clean. Getting in was easy - I received a call and text on the morning of check-in letting me know of the door code, and the instructions to find the bus on a gravel road were perfect. The bed was comfy and the shower was great - plenty of hot water. I visited in June and the air conditioner worked great. I was concerned about wifi and cell signal in this remote area, but they were both perfect. I was able to stream movies on the provided Netflix and Amazon accounts. The kitchen was fully stocked. The only things to note are that you'll want to bring your own toiletries (shampoo, lotion, etc.), because only shower gel was provided during my stay. I had all that stuff, so it was no problem. Also, next time I will bring my own mirror, as there's only one in Skoolie and it was at about chest height. During my stay I drove into Mountain View each day and visited Moonshot Coffee (highly recommended, across the street from Wal-Mart), and Oliver's Bistro on the square. Oh my gosh - Oliver's was so good I literally ate lunch there Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. My family was camping nearby in Blanchard Springs campground, but I needed a place with wifi to work during the week (Blanchard Springs has no cell or internet service). Skoolie was exactly what I was looking for - a cozy place partway between the town of Mountain View and Blanchard Springs. The instagram factor alone of the school bus is worth the trip!

My husband and I celebrated our 15 year anniversary here this past weekend! The bus was so neat! We loved the camping feel but without the sacrifices of a comfortable bed and WiFi! The swimming hole on double bridge loop was so convenient and the water felt amazing. The bus is just a short drive to Mountain View or Blanchard Springs! We are definitely going to be planning another trip up here and will bring our kids this time!

Not sure glamping is the right word for it, but you get nature, a nice view, seclusion, grills, more firewood than you could ever need, and then a nice air conditioned apartment on wheels complete with shower, comfy bed, refrigerator. There's even wifi & a TV. It was perfectly located between Blanchard Springs Caverns and Mountain View. Nice & memorable experience. Nothing but positive.

The schoolie is beautifully renovated and it was such a treat for my granddaughter and I. I would bring it home and live in it if I could. We saw deer on the hill every morning. We spent most of our time checking out swimming holes at Blanchard Springs, Gunner Pool, and the Syllamore Creek US Forest Service area at Allison. The highlight for my granddaughter was when we found a banjoleli, a banjo ukakeli hybrid, at a music store downtown.
