Can't wait to come back to the Hut! We had a great time...very peaceful.
This was just the cutest little cabin in the woods. We cooked, watched deer, hiked, built a campfire, and got some much needed r&r. Thanks for a great stay!
This is the place to go if you want to feel like getting away from civilization! It was PERFECT for us to get away from everything for the weekend. Close to everything, yet remote enough to feel like we are out in the middle of nowhere. Loved it times 10! Plenty of space that I didn’t have to worry about our dog at any point. ☺️ Inside was a pleasant surprise as well. 👏🏼 Beautiful... will stay again.
Fantastic! We made some great memories in Mountain View and loved coming back "home" to this little cabin after a day of adventures. It was clean, well-stocked, and comfortable. Bring bug spray...the ticks are plentiful in the ozarks!
The Hiker’s Hut is a great cabin! My husband and I enjoyed every minute we were there. The cabin is located deep in the woods, but not too far from town. We were able to come and go while enjoying the many activities that the Mountain View area has. The cabin was beautiful inside and out! We will definitely visit this area again, and quite possibly the Hiker’s Hut! Loved it!!
Perfect get away for my Husband, dog and I. We loved how secluded we were and the cabin was perfect.
The Hiker Hut was the cutest little cabin. The inside was absolutely beautiful. The cleanest place I think I’ve ever stayed in. I was so surprised at all the little extras they leave for you. In my opinion Ivy Rentals go above and beyond. It is secluded and private, the perfect little getaway.
The house was wonderful. The air conditioner worked great. Accommodations were great. I love the way the cabin is decorated. The setting in the woods was so peaceful. We saw turkeys in the back, and a black bear came two days in a row. We hiked and road our mountain bikes on nearby trails as well as kayaked on the Buffalo River. Excellent vacation !!!
Beautiful cabin, perfectly secluded. Great hiking, 15 minutes from restaurants, gas, and a Walmart, Wifi was perfect for movies at night.
This place is amazing if you want to be secluded but feel like you’re in a 5 star retreat! Everything you need is here-it is stylish, clean, and fun! You can walk down to the creek, hike, play cornhole or make a fire in the back, chill on the front porch, relax inside and enjoy the quiet! Highly recommend. The hosts are amazing as well-we have stayed at there other location as well and they were so helpful and would recommend that creek spot cabin as well!
The cabin was just as described! It was clean and inviting! Secluded in the woods with hiking trails nearby and a beautiful creek we walked to that the kids enjoyed playing in! They had everything we needed for our stay. All we brought was food/ shampoo/ personal items. I ended up having to bring my dogs last minute and the host was very accommodating and even had bowls for them when we got there! They thought of every little detail! The host quickly replied when I had to email a question and was available if I had any questions or concerns throughout the trip. They had the wood there for the firepit, we used to make s'mores one night. There's also a grill and picnic table outside. We enjoyed our trip and our time at the cabin. I would definitely recommend the hiker hut and if we come back to Mountain View, we would stay there again!
Couldn't have asked for a more peaceful and cute little cabin! We had everything we needed for a enjoyable stay. Was really relaxing to sit in the back by the fire pit and have some s’mores with the kids. I really enjoyed being so close to all the bike trails that I could just hop on the bike and go. Really appreciated Emily and Virginia’s hospitality! Cell reception is tough and it’s a dry county so prepare accordingly.
This cabin was absolutely adorable! Emily and Virginia have thought have everything down to towels for the dogs. Kitchen was well stocked and the furnishings were perfect! Loved spending time there and hope to return soon!
The Hiker Hut was a great getaway, quiet and peaceful in the middle of the woods. It was very clean and tidy inside and out. Mosquitoes didn't bother us when we were outside near the house, but once you walked in the woods and down the gravel road they would start attacking you. The creek was about a 15 minute walk in the woods which we didn't attempt because the ticks were so bad. We did however end up going to the Sylamore Creek Campsite to go swimming. Water was nice and refreshing and my dog loved swimming in it. My dog also loved running around exploring the woods and laying on the front porch in the morning while we drank our coffee. Wifi worked great inside and out. I would def like to come back when the weather is cooler and the trees are changing colors. Overall great vacation spot!
We had a great stay. It was clean and comfortable.
