We surprised my husband with a weekend getaway and we couldn’t have been more pleased with our trip. The lodging was fantastic with modern decor and finishes, but still holding that rustic handmade charm of Mountain View. Cabin was a quick trip to the square or north to Blanchard Springs.

The first thing that my wife, two daughters (26 & 15), and granddaughter (6) said as they entered the house was "oh wow - this is so pretty!" I know I heard at least one of them continue to say how pretty that it was every hour that we were there. The front room has a wonderful wall of windows that opens up the house to the mountains outside. What we LOVED about this house was that it was beautiful and very functional. The bathroom is large and modern; the kitchen is well-stocked with utensils, cutlery, and tableware. The deck outside is huge, complete with a large table and chairs - plus a couple of lounge chairs. The fire pit out back (already stocked with firewood) was perfect for making s'mores and memories. My wife has already made me promise to re-book this house in the wintertime, in the hopes that we can be here when it snows. The house is very new and was immaculately clean. There is an ample supply of towels - even for a group of five (with 4 girls). Almost every need that we had was thought of and was already present on site. This is one home that you don't have to worry about packing the 'incidentals' that you normally would need to bring with you to other homes. It is completely stocked with towels, linens, paper towels, washcloths, hand towels, dish towels, dish soap, etc etc. Just bring your own personal hygiene bag and you're all set. We had a wonderful time!

Thoroughly enjoyed our weeks stay at the A was absolutely one of the cleanest places we have ever rented, of course it was new, but still very well decorated, inside and out. We loved building a fire, even in July and listening to the night sounds, total heaven ❤️ Enjoyed Fourth of July festivities, local eats and loved Gunnar Pool. Friendly people around town and Ivy personnel were very good about sending schedule of events going in around town as well as dining suggestions. Our first time to use Ivy Resorts, BUT definitely not our last!!!!! Steve & Carole Tarkington

Very well built cabin with incredible craftsmanship. Very clean and all brand new furnishings and appliances. Cooking in the kitchen was a breeze. We had no problems getting in and out of the driveway with our pickup truck. Check in was a breeze.

If you are looking for a true getaway this is your place! Very quite and relaxing! We felt right at home! Just a short trip into town and to the local attractions as promised. Pictures do no justice as to how amazing this property is in person! We wish we could have stayed forever!

So I am a hotel snob. I have to use bottled water to brush my teeth, wear socks to bed, and don’t sit or touch anything, BUT this place was amazing!! I didn’t even have to use bottled water! Lol It was so clean and I felt at home. We absolutely loved it!!! Even the toughest critic can stay here with ease! Best place I’ve ever stayed!

Hidden, private, meticulous, they thought of everything! We’ll be back!

We adored the house and it’s comforts and features. It’s lovely; beautiful, clean and quite charming. I will say that unfortunately, the drive down to the house is extremely rough. I would highly recommend a four wheel drive vehicle until the property owners work on the road a bit. Getting out was very challenging and we became stuck. We are not gravel road novices at all. It’s very private and beautiful however, so just bring your 4WD pickup and enjoy your stay.

Visited for the weekend and really enjoyed the house. It was not only brand new and immaculate, but all of the little touches made it feel truly like our home for the weekend - high-end pots and pans and utensils, wood and firepit was prepped, lots of towels and extras. Communication by our hosts was great and made it easy to find the house and what to do around town. Thanks for hosting us - will be back.

My wife and i had an amazing weekend. The cabin is located both close to the main highway while also feeling isolated and private. The best of both worlds. We were impressed by how clean and modern it was. It was nice to be able to relax by the fire in the private yard and look at the stars. The dolks at ivy vacations were the best. We will definitely rent from them again

We stayed at the A Frame cabin in Mt View. Was as advertised well appointed. Would definitely recommend!

My family and I had a great time exploring the woods around the cabin and sitting around the campfire. The cabin is very modern and comfortable. The wifi worked great, we could make calls and send texts via wifi no problem and the roku TV streamed Netflix with no trouble. Our t mobile phones had absolutley no service at cabin but worked in town. The town is decent size with most everything you'll need and only about a 7 min drive. The rest of our time was spent in the nearby national forest. Blanchard springs rec area has cavern tours and along with Gunner pool rec area they both have some great trails and clear rocky streams to explore.

Very quiet & peaceful. My husband said the directions were great; he went right to it. I did not see the driveway at first glance; there were alot of leaves covering it. Not very far from town, very comfortable. It rained so we did not get out and walk around alot; would have liked to do more of that. Plenty of towels and everything was clean & neat. The only thing I didn't find that I thought was basic was salt & pepper. We bought things for breakfast & brought coffee from home, but then went back to the grocery the next day. The color changes in the trees were pretty, we enjoyed the local scenery. We went to the Craft center Saturday morning; found that very interesting. We went to the Bean festival Friday, it was enjoyable even with drizzle. I enjoyed all the items in the Craft gallery in town and we both LOVED the Urban Forge store. If I had an unlimited budget, I would be shopping there! We tried Oliver's Bistro for lunch Friday & it was delicious. We ate twice at Angler's and it was outstanding!. We tried the mexican restaurant on the square & found it good as well. The only thing that we were unsatisfied with was the TV situation. We don't watch too much TV except for maybe an hour or 2 at night, and he likes ball games. I have had a subscription to Amazon prime for some time, but could not make it work with your TV. Phone said it was connected to the TV, but it would not show a picture. Luckily I had my laptop, and we were able to watch LSU/Auburn game on that through amazon prime. I don't have a subscription to Netflix or any of the others, & am not a "tech whiz", I am 66, and used an EMR at work & basic computer skills at our farm office. I had no idea what to do to get the TV to work. The phone said "no internet when we tried to use the TV to connect to the Prime, but in settings, it showed that it was connected to the WiFi. We were gone most of both days anyway. The trip was overall very enjoyable!

Great location, remote, quiet. Quaint cabin that is well-kept, clean and perfect for people looking to get away. No cellular service but there is wifi which worked well during our stay. Easy drive to Mountain View, AR and Blanchard Springs Cavern. Will stay again when in the area!

We enjoyed our stay at this small, modern A-frame hidden down an incline in the woods. It’s very secluded, so it’s perfect for those looking for a modern experience away from the world. We especially enjoyed the fire pit! We love the nearby town of Mountain View also. Overall, lovely place to stay!
