Cabin was lovely, nice and clean. It had everything you could possibly need. It was private, we didn't see another person on the property the whole of our stay. Overall, I would highly recommend staying there, especially during the spring and summer months. Having Netflix, Google chrome and hulu - a big plus at night. Communication with the property manager was great. She was very helpful and responded quickly.
We love this cabin. It's adorable and perfect for our family. The kids really enjoyed watching the hummingbirds and the deer on the property. We spent one day at the creek and it was so much fun. We loved exploring the town of Mountain View and the cave tour! We would stay here again and again. The cabin is well stocked and super clean. Emily and Virginia were a pleasure to work with!
Everything you could ever need and want nicely packaged in this VERY spacious, comfortable and wonderfully decorated cabin! The creek is a quick walk away and the fire pit is wonderful to cozy up around and make memories!
We loved this cabin! The location is excellent with the crystal clear creek within walking distance. We brought our dog and she loved being able to roam. The gated porch is such a nice touch so we could leave her while we went out. We will be back!
My husband and I absolutely loved staying at Creekside Hideaway!! This was our first Airbnb experience and we were celebrating my 25th birthday! From the beautiful view from the giant porch, to the adventures on the creek, we thoroughly enjoyed our week long stay at this beautiful location near Mountain View! We had planned on doing more things in town but ended up staying and fishing up and down the creek for 3 days straight before even going into town! The house is beautiful inside and out. Everything was very clean and very modern. And even though it was just me, my husband, and our dog, the house can comfortably sleep up to 7 people! We loved the cozy fire pit outside and spent every morning on the back porch sipping coffee and watching for wildlife (we saw 3 deer right in the back yard!!). The kitchen was full of all the cookware we needed and everything was very clean and organized. Most of our day was spent at the creek which was just a short walk away! The water and scenery were so beautiful and the fish were biting, we couldn’t stay away! We fished with worms and caught several brim, bass, and even some fish we had never seen before! When we did go to town to explore the city, we were just minutes away from hot spots like the Ozark Folk Center, Blanchard Springs Caverns, the City Park, and all the good eating places like JoJo’s and Anglers! If you are looking to stay anywhere near the Mountain View area, we HIGHLY reccomend staying at Creekside Hideaway! We will defiantly be back!
the only problem we had is we got four ways to get there and they were all wrong
We enjoyed our stay at the Creekside Hideaway. The cabin is very comfortable and an excellent place to unwind after a day of sightseeing and exploring. Every amenity is there for your comfort. The beds are heavenly and is the perfect home away from home!
Sibling trip with surviving siblings and it was a week of peace and quiet. Deer prancing in the front yard birds of many varieties flying over and weather cooperated completely.
We had a great time staying at Creekside Hideaway! The cabin/house was roomy, very clean & updated. The deck had a great view and plenty of chairs. We took the short walk to the creek everyday and swam and fished. We visited Blanchard Speing Caverns, Loco Ropes and the Ozark Folk Center. We grilled one night and had Tommy’s Pizza he next night (it was delicious!). The cabin had lots of movies and games, plenty of chairs for the deck and fire pit, kitchen was stocked with anything and everything you would need and the best part of all was the Sona sleep machines in each room!
We happened upon the Creekside Hideaway for a quick one night stay, and as soon as we got there, we wished we could have booked an additional day! The location is beautiful and secluded. It is not directly on the water but a short walk. The water in the creek was the perfect temperature and clear- we had a lot of fun fishing, floating and exploring the creek. The house had everything you could possibly need as well as plenty of board games to keep the family entertained at nighttime. The set up of the house was perfect for our family of 6. The owners were very friendly. We would definitely come back again.
We loved out stay here. The house was immaculate and well furnished. Great location near the creek. We would definitely stay here again.
Cabin was excellent top-notch very well kept and equipped , however creek experience was horrible. We got to the creek around 10:30 am after about a 250 yard walk with small children per cabin rules , after only being there about 30 minutes here they came townspeople everywhere 6 vehicles drove across the creek and set up less than 50 yards from us shooting guns at snakes with children everywhere and after about 30 minutes of rude staring like we was in their territory we were forced to move something needs to be done about that before someone innocent like a child gets hurt by a drunk hillbilly with a gun
Creekside Hideaway is exactly as described on their website. We had a great time and made great memories. The management was easy to access and we had an issue with the ice maker in the refrigerator one day and they sent out 2 bags of ice and a repair man within an hour! The creek was just right for our boys (7 and 9) to play, fish and swim. Thanks again for a great trip!
The house was better than best expectation. Amazingly clean, well stocked to say the least, creek is picture perfect, caught bass, trout and perch every day, great, great, etc., etc., etc. As awesome as the house and amenities were, the people at Ivy Vacations were indescribably more wonderful. Any request received immediate response. More than willing to be courteous and kind emails and offers of assistance daily. We've been to quite a few places, vacations rentals, etc. and no one else compares to these people. They live "do unto others as you would have them do unto you". We went into town to some of the shops (antiques, ice cream, food, etc.) and spoke to several of the "locals". Once again, these people made you believe that all they had to do for the day was be nice to you. This is not the average"tourist trap" town. This is the place you go to relax, feel safe with your children and have the fun vacation you wait for all year to come around. No place is perfect but this place and especially these people make you want to come back.
Everything was great about this home. Great secluded location but only 10 minutes or so from great food at some local restaurants. Walking distance to the creek with great swimming holes. We didn’t see another human at the creek until Thursday. Had it to ourselves the first part of the week. Saw lots of wildlife: deer, roadrunners, and even a family of river otters. Loved this place and want to go back.
Wonderful getaway, close enough to town yet secluded. Kids loved the creek and it was crystal clear. House was in great shape and very roomy and comfortable. Overall great place and would stay here again. Thanks!
Absolutely loved this place. Had everything you could need. Beautiful and nestled in the mountains. The neighbors are the sweetest couple. Stop and pick up your wine or beer before you get there because Mountainview is a dry county. Saw sooo many critters and the creek was perfect. Loved that I had no real service on my phone. We will be booking again.
My family and I enjoyed our time at this charming cabin. Upon our arrival, it was clean, nicely decorated and well maintained. We liked the seclusion with wildlife out the front door including deer, rabbits, hummingbirds, and an armadillo. Would book again.
Wonderful hosts! The cabin was stocked with all the essentials. Creek was fun and clean! Loved grilling and hanging by the fire pit. Perfect for families!
Our family of 8 enjoyed every minute of our stay. The home is well thought out, stocked well, with all sorts of thoughtful ammenities. We enjoyed the nearby spring-fed creek and swam and fished. After a good rain, the creek was not as safe for the younger one due the current, but it was enjoyable still. There are lots of things to do in the area. The town of mountainview was a neat little community. We visited nearby Blanchard Springs cavern park, a national park, to either pay and explore a large cave system, or hike your own and see smaller ones along the creek. We even floated the Buffalo River, about an hour drive, but well worth it. We would love to go back in the future.
Beautiful, comfortable, well equipt, serene and peaceful. Even if it was a business trip! We will be back for fun next time for sure!
Wonderful cabin with awesome Mt view! A friendly and helpful staff! Close to wonderful sites!
Every thing was great,we had a huge time.I will be back thanks again for the memories.
We enjoyed our time in the ozarks! Fishing was great cabin was a little small for a family of 6. We would rent again from Ivey though. They are great people to work with.
Our batteries are recharged after staying at the Creekside Hideaway! Everything in the home is amazing. We stayed in the big bedroom that has a queen and a twin trundle - the queen bed mattress was everything my dreams are made of. Our son said his bed in the room off the kitchen was equally amazing. Bed comfort is crazy important to us. We loved the open floor plan. The shower pressure was amazing. Loved the access to Netflix. The wifi was steady and reliable. We also loved all the board games available. We didn't have time for them, but will stay longer next time! Our standard poodle was in love with the yard and the creek. We brought our own crate, but you had one just like it in the closet. Every convenience has been provided to your guests. Thank you, Ivy Vacations! Virginia and Dawnette took great care of us! -Hirons Family
Great place and the most confort in a bed I have experienced in a long time
Fantastic location. The cabin was wonderful and looks exactly like the pictures. We enjoyed walks to the beautiful creek and were able to splash around even in March. The property has two fire pits that were perfect for s’mores. The neighbors were friendly. It’s in a great location and close to so many fun activities. We’ll definitely be back, hopefully this summer. The only down side is the master bedroom needs a new mattress and the place could use some hooks to hang things to dry. 😉
This cabin is fabulous. It is far enough away to feel secluded, yet close enough to town to do whatever you'd like easily. It is a short drive to the caverns and trailheads. We love to cook and the kitchen had everything we could possibly need. We had 2 couples and 4 children and there was plenty of room for everyone. The porch is perfect for catching a sunset or just relaxing with your morning coffee or evening drink. The big yard was great for everyone to run and play, and it was a short hike down to the creek. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you for having us!
We had a wonderful time at the cabin; we didn't want to leave and can't wait to come back! Everything was very clean and well stocked with anything we could want, need or didn't think of. The creek was a short walk away which we had fun skipping rocks in and a few braved getting their feet wet. We loved being outside and enjoyed the comforts of coming in as the day cooled off! A perfect getaway!!
Quiet, had everything we needed. Would highly recommend.
Creekside Hideaway in Mountain View, Arkansas is a delightful retreat that can serve as your base to visit Blanchard Caverns, Blanchard Springs and the surrounding area; the Ozark Folk Center; and all the little shops and eateries in the Mountain View area. Or, better yet, you can just sit on the porch and relax. Maybe you'll want to make a campfire and enjoy the fire pit in the front yard, walk down to the creek or go birding. From the front porch - without really trying - we counted more than twenty species of birds in additions to rabbits, butterflies and other tiny critters. The beds were comfy, the bathrooms and kitchen area were fine, but we honestly didn't stay inside much. In short, you can be as active or as inactive as you'd like.
